Hardware USB HDD FOR USE WITH SX OS 2.02

hi all,
as headline says I was wondering what type of usb hdd or flash drive would you guys recommend to use with the switch on sx os 2.02.

I have a 1tb drive taken from a ps4 pro and wonder could I use that with the right hdd enclosure or could i use a 2tb flash drive?

you could use a Y usb cable

you could use a self powered usb hdd

you could use a self powered usb hub, so it provides extra power to feed the usb hdd

im using a 1tb WD passport, no Y cable needed, works fine, exFat, xci to root, on 5.1 fw, works great, tad slower than SD but for space vs cost of huge sd cards, im happy
