Hacking USB HD Problem

Hi there, i've got a Samsung 320GB 2.5 HM320JI usb hd, and its listed as an working device on the list, but, i just cant get it to work on my wii, im on waninkoko last cios (13b), on firmware 4.1 (updated via waninkoko tool), ive formatted it to fat32, then to WBFS with WbfsManager 3.0, everything went well, but usb loaders didnt recognize it, with 1.5 it gives me ret=-6, gx doesnt find it...
Ive tried all the methods ive found on this forum (different ports, different times to plug it), and nothing seemed to work (and yes the loader recognize my flash drive, i can play backups on it, but its just too small >.

did you install at least one ISO on the drive via WBFS Manager ??

yip id say its the crappy cables ! i had this problem with a harddrive and solved with a cheap enclosure !

I had a problem when I formatted the drive with WbfsManager 3.0.USBLoader just kept giving errors.
I got around it by formatting my drive into NTFS, then plugging into my wii and formatting it to WBFS with USBLoader_gx. It now works fine
