Hacking USB GUI forwarder channel

Apologies for posting this as a new topic, but I've spent the last hour searching here and wadder.net and cant find it anywhere!

I know there is a forwarder channel which uses a very similar theme to the usb loader gui (big thread), can anyone point me in the right direction?

Does anyone here have a forwarder that will work as autoboot in preloader?

I installed the forwarder (I think its the nixx one?) but when I click it (boot.dol in the right place) it opens the loader gui background and scrollbar but doesnt have any buttons or any games. Opens fine directly from HC.

Is this a known issue?
