Hi,
I used balencia etcher and it says it was successful, but it doesn't show up as a USB device on the Wii U. Any further suggestions?

You cannot use 3rd party or pc software to clone a wii u drive im afraid.
You must connect both drives to the wii u and then move or copy everything across to the larger drive from the system settings. I'd recommend that you copy it across just incase theres a problem with your new drive.
The time it takes depends on how much your trying move.
