Hardware Upper screen permanently black...

so, the right hinge on my o3ds xl broke a while back, and the top part of the system became pretty much loose. the top part unfortunately went into a position it never should have, and now its screen is just black. please tell me this can be fixed somehow.

oh okay, so it's repairable! that's good. uh..which flex cable do i want? i'm seeing all kinds of them for L/R, camera, speaker, so i'm gonna guess LCD? i just don't know what it looks like ha

You must buy a whole new LCD because the cable is permanently connected to it. You will need to disassemble the top and bottom of the system to swap out the screens and plug the new screen into the motherboard.

sending to nintendo is definitely not an option, i've got cfw and arm9loaderhax lol

ah, well i don't really care about the hardmod at all (but if i can get it then by all means....) the upper LCD is the most important part!!
