Homebrew Upgrading from 2.2u

Hey I'm currently using version 2.2u on my wii. I'm living in the stone age here.. I was wondering if there is anyway to upgrade specifically to 3.2u, [obviously not through nintendo] is there a homebrew appplication? Lastly will it damage my wii, or make any of my other homebrew aps disabled [.02 launcher, Gamma launcher, mplayer ce, DVDX, MIOS, CIOS etc etc..?] Thanks.

you can put a mariokart disk that has 3.1 update. keep your wifi off. I just did it on a friend's from 2.2u to 3.1 and then installed hbc using guides here.

Yeah the mario kart game is deffo the way to go , it will get u to 3.1e and you will be able to install the homebrew channel on that version.
once you have the homebrew channel on ur consol just look for the emperorofcanada tutorial and that will get you to 3.2e.
its the best tutorial for what ur looking for, i have had to use it many times to get from 3.1e to 3.2e.
