Hacking up'ed to 4.2, but wii fit plus still wants to update

I was on 3.4 with HBC. I bought Wii Fit Plus ad it wants to update. I followed the "safe updater" instruction and now my version is shown as 4.2U (yes I have a US unit and the game is NTSC/U), but when popping the Wii Fit Plus disc in, it still wants to update! What's going on? Did I miss something?

Just install preloader and have the disc update check disabled.

Is wiifit plus from another region? It might be trying to upate news/weather channels from the other region.
