Hacking updating

after i came bk from holiday, i went to the psn and it said that my ps3 needs updating. I currently have the 3.40 firmware but the psbreak works on v3.41 and the latest one is v3.42.
If there any way of getting v3.41 and not v3.42?

i believe so, I think you can download it from playstation.com somewhere... But maybe you can only download 3.42 there.
edit: I checked and you can't download 3.41 from playstation.com, only 3.42.

I do believe there's an offline update option, but you have to download the files yourself and copy them to the ps3, just download the files for v3.41 and copy them to the ps3 and choose the offline update option. Or at least I think that's how it works.

When you go to the PlayStation website they will have the newest update. They never keep the previous version for security reasons. If you want an oold version you will have to look in a non-official website that preserves all the updates. Try to look around for it because on the website you won't find it anymore.

You'll need to find the offline version of the 3.41 update which is hopefully available.

Once you update to 3.41 offline, you can still access PSN by using the tricks available here

If you go to the PS3 Break website they have the official 3.41 update so you can download it and make an offline install as doyama said
