Hacking updating with Cios

Does any1 know if any Cios you have on your wii get changed ifyou update?

cIOS 222/223 v4 and under is stubbed

all patched ios of normal version number are updated removing such patches.

cIOS250 and 222/223 v5 remains.

Is this explanation, referring to a directly update from any fw to 4.3?

As i`m intending to do that, however my wii`s newer and won´t let me do a boot2 bootmii install. U_U
