Hacking Updating via WADs

how did you get the wad files from the iso file i don't get that

yeah I tried that but it says decrypting error so I found here on the forum that you need a key.bin file but I really don't understand it

I have a somewhat similar question. Sorry if this has been answered before, or is a stupid question. I am on the 3.0U firmware, and have been blocked from the Wii Shop Channel for quite some time. I was just wondering, but is it possible to just add the updates necessary to get the Shop Channel to work, or can that only be done by installing a higher system menu (3.1-3.3)? Thanks for any help!

That's what I want to do too.
but I don't know anybody with the right Wad.

I have the shop channel in multi-file format, not in WAD format.
I don't know if it's usable when redirecting updates URL to the PC.

I can't update via iso but I can't update via wads either because I don't have pal wads

I understand that however I can't strip the iso file without the key.bin file
or am I wrong there

There's a tutorial on here somewhere.
You need a hex editor to find what's inside the common-key.bin
I'm pretty sure the common-key.bin is in some packages people have on here.
WAD editors maybe.
