Starting with 1.0.7 the Homebrew Channel now has the HW_AHBPROT flags set for direct hardware access. DVDx unlocked DVD Mode for homebrew applications. Now the Homebrew Channel just unlocks it before it loads up homebrew that uses it, like WiiMC.
