Hacking updating my acekard 2i???

i have a dsi xl and
im currently on AK1.6rc1 and i tried to update to rc2 using wifi
but it just got stuck on a white screen after updating then no games would load
they just hang on a white screen also
so i had to delete the firmware and put the original one back on the mem card now its back to normal..
so how do i update? also what settings do i put it on to update as it says update cheats/loaders/etc etc

You cannot update AKAIO over WiFi.

You now have AKAIO 1.6RC1, with the loaders from AKAIO 1.6RC2. This is what's causing the white screens.

You will now have to reinstall AKAIO following my guide http://gbatemp.net/t218103-updated-n00b-gu...up-your-acekard

I tried to make it as clear as possible in that guide, do not update the AKAIO loaders!

hmm not sure if im gonna update actually it says i dont need to, it says wait for rc3
all my games are playing atm anyway...
what good homebrew is available for dsi and acekard 2i?

I've only used colors and the MicroSD card speed tester.
