Hacking Updates for games not available from Wii USB Helper

Hi all. I have a number of games (Call of Duty 2, Guitar Hero Live etc) that aren't available under Wii U USB Helper but that have updates.

Is there any way to download the game updates from a PC and use WUPinstaller to install them on the Wii U?

Utikdownloadhelper was the solution for me. Glad you solved the problem by yourself. This is definitely a flaw in Wii U USB Helper. Not sure if the author of that program is aware of it.

JNUSTool should work just fine and is easy to use
