Hacking Question Updated sd-files but cannot boot from hekate?

Hi I have an unpatched switch that works with fusee, i've just pulled out my switch after a few months and updated the sd-files and hekate. Now when i boot Hekate and launch the custom firmware, the screen goes blank. Is it perhaps because my old firmware wont work with the new sd-files? or because a had a custom theme?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

EDIT: it looks like fusee-primary works fine. It's just Hekate that seems to reset it into rcm mode.
