When i try to open the bnr file extratcted from Wiiscrubber i´ll keep geting this message:
"Doesn´t seem to be a folder with a disc id name in it?"
What can i do?

You can upgrade to 1.5

1.1 and older versions need the banner in a path named [DiscId] and banner should also be named as [DiscId]

For example for wiisports : RSPE01\RSPE01.bnr

In the 1.5 version it's ok as long as you put the disc Id at the end of the filename (before the extension of course)... and you don't need to put the banner in a folder with the name DiscId
like

Anything\WiiSports-RSPE01.bnr
Banners\RSPE01.bnr
Stuff\WIISPORTS-RSPE01.bnr

you name it...

ps: 1.5 version is in my blog, not posted here...

WiiCrazy,
Can you make a YAL loader with Ocarina enabled to add on Crap?
I need YAL because is the only loader that works on Animal Crossing without the freezing bug still not correct by Waninkoko´s cIOS36 rev 10.
I´m still waiting for rev11 like many others...

Thanks...

Could anyone plese hint my why it has the name of CRAP (or Crap)? Is it an abbreviation for something? Or it is just for fan?

It would be very appreciated if someone could tell the secret.

Well it's not an abbreviation, I named it Crap because this application doesn't do much extraordinary... I have a habit of giving humble names to my applications unless they do real serious stuff... And this deals with wads which are regarded as crap by some, hence the name...

Generally I do not much give value to any work I do in the gui world... and this is one of them...
Still it contains some real serious work, like

1. Porting segher's wad unpacking & packing into a library... original console version just use exits whenever an error occurs... the one I made into a library correctly propagates this error to the calling code... also this is the main difference of my app with the other game channel creators (unlike wbfsmanager which AlexDP also did a great port there)

2. Porting of the loaders, and making them configurable by patching

3. Fast creation of wads in batch mode... I even reduced the speed for the status updates to be seen...

4. Test feature is a reimplementation of wiiload in c#

Btw, this thread doesn't reflect the last version of the app, the last version can be downloaded from here : http://wiicrazy.tepetaklak.com/index.php/2...fixes-for-crap/

I am using crap v1.54 and created some channels for jpn games(Smash Brothers X, Monster Hunter Tri...) and when I try to load them onto my Wii when it finishes it reads: This is not a Wii application :-(

So what I used to create was Shinobi VC Arcade JPN.wad as base wad(I made it regionfree with free the wads) and the opening banners from the respective games.

What did I do wrong?

Any advice?

Thanks.

Edit: posted this in the correct discussion forum.

Edit2: Figured out myself, obviously this has to do with the fact that Wiiload sends apps to the HBC, not game channels. Installed manually and works.
