Hacking Update wont finish!

Guys,
I was on 4.1e and needed to move to 4.2e for Mario Galaxy 2.
I installed this http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=184...t=0&start=0 and worked perfectly.
I read that some users who were required to install an update (after using this installation method) were able to do so with no errors effecting HBC extra.
In saying this, i clicked update for Mario Galaxy 2 and its updating but it wont finish.
Its right at the end.
Can someone please help!

EDIT: Headsup, issue is rendered now just attempting to get IOS56 for SMG2

EDIT II: Installed IOS56 with MMM. (Went through WAD manager way) worked fine. Went to run disc game 'cannot be read'

try resettin your wii, if nothing happens - full brick.
I'm not sure if Nintendo of Australia is charging people 200 bucks. if so, NoE is the best damn Ninty division - cuz they aren't allowed by consumer laws

IVE BEEEN HANDED A MASSIVE LIFELINE!
I clicked eject disc and disc ejected, said wii update failed etc.
Everything works in normal condition.
So now how do i go about being able to play the game w/o running the actual update (im on 4.2e)

Gecko OS, update through System Menu, try again?

Run the game through gecko OS and it'll install the IOS the game needs for you.

Or install it manually, the game needs IOS56 I think

have you tried using back up launchers?
that's what i use to play my wii games, real or backups.

Well i got hard mod.
Tried normal wii loading, disc can not be read.
Tried using neogamma. it wont load. disc can not be read.
Anyone know how i can install with a Wad installer?
Also will the WAD file matter (ie ios56-64-v5146 vs ios56-64-v5405?)

Wad installer - just get waninkokos wad manager http://bit.ly/a92oVH, wad name doesnt matter, though i would recommend latest version (5405) because it might have fixes...
otherwise get rid of your chip i guess.

Well I cant install ios56 because my wii remote keeps dcing while in ios249 on wad manager 1.7. Any help?

Now the issue is I've installed IOS56 with MMM but now i still can not read disc
Any help please!
