Hacking Update Wii U with moddified Region is safe??

is safe update the Wii U if i moddified the Region-Lock?

If you modified the region, you must have elevated access, which implies that you are already on 5.5.1, right?
If you are on 5.5.1, and there currently isn't a newer update, how could anyone know if it is safe?

If I missed something logically, and you actually are running an older version, it would be in your best interest to revert any change in sys_prod.xml before updating.

Don't. try. changing. your. console region.
Unless you want your Wii U to brick. Just use Mocha CFW or built-in Haxchi CFW for region-free.

nop im running 5.5.1 ummmm that is more safe revert the changes in sys_prod.xml for the update only.....ill make that if Nintendo uptade the wii u......

Why not just revert back and use mocha or haxchi to have region free. Mocha makes no changes to the wiiu so is totally safe to use and will let you update with zero issues when the inevitable update for Breath of the wild comes out.
