At least they admitted their error.
To say the truth I was pretty surprised that they actually exchanged the deffective models, they gained my respect with that.

Sorry bad english but when i look videos i cannot see chip if they are different and dunno electric so much that i can spesify chips.

just to clarify i completed the update and pcb cutting successfully, the card opens to the menus but freezes up at loading a game.... ill try reinstalling 1.60

Ok to be hones my rev c dorasu non rts card even update.

But many of forums solved prob formattin sd fat 32 and install wood 1.6 and games saind worked fine,

Yes format your sd card and re-download the latest kernel and install in your micro sd card and it should work fine.

Hey has anyone notice that the "black" theme/skin isn't compatible with r4i gold? I changed to it awhile ago (before the kernel was updated) and it wouldn't show an start menu and pretty much everything I would press on wouldn't do anything it was as if everything was disabled

Oh no you need to right click on the file you download (1.60 kernel) and then goose the option extract

Once it's done extracting you will see a file named "DSMENU.DAT" and a folder named "_rpg"

Yeah, that was the icon I had. I just format my Micro SD card and reinstall the wood. But it still freezes the 3ds.

Noticed a curious thing.
I also have several cards that I received updated to 5.+ (I am reseller) with the icon shown here already Dorasu.
However, some of them can not be updated.
Looking at the hardware, it's just like the cards Revision C, which had a bug that would not let him be updated to version 4.4.

Which leads me to believe that R4iGold Team managed the factory update these cards for version 4.4 + and repositioned in the market, even though they could not be updated through patches.

I realized that the cards upgradeable, has a white mark
the left side of the board.
As shown in the photo.

Cards that do not have this marking, are the cards that can not be updated.
Maybe other hardware difference is not visible.

Anyway, I contacted the R4iGold Team and await a response.
