There's no reason not to update. Let's be realistic, switch hacking is in its infant stage. Everyone talking about oh but on older firmware there's coldboot blah blah blah, doesn't matter in the least. Yea sure it may take hackers/modders longer to accomplish things with newer firmware but it will happen, wether it be in the near future or after the consoles life span has run it's course. Take the ps3 for example, older hardware/software got exploited easily & quickly, it wasnt until recently that the newest ps3 hardware/software got exploited. It's just a matter of hackers/modders taking an interest
