We’re using sys-patches now? Wow, I’m really behind on all of this 😅

Where can I download them? Also, should I get the latest sys-patches, or the version specifically for firmware 20.5.0?

Sorry for all the questions!!

It is easier with syspatch, since you don't have to chase around with which sigpatches build version to use since that was based on Atmosphere build version.

When SD emuMMC Raw partition is on off it is for sysnand, when the SD emummc raw paritition is on it is for Emummc, keep in mind that emmc sys and emmc user tab will be unavailable for emummc.

Ok, i already backup it up. Now ill do the sysnand and then re enable the emu. Thanks for letting me know.

Also, what do you mean by: "You shouldn’t be using custom sysmodules that you gain absolutely nothing from, no cosmetic or vanity features allowed"?

What other options do we have?
It means what it says.

You have 3 choices, memory for sysmodules and game mods, just compatibility with tinfoil or latest.

Hoarding behavior of stacking bloatware sysmodules basically is something you shouldn’t do anymore.

And acnh works fine on way older firmware….
If i update to 20.5.0, which sigpatches version should we use?
Im going to use these:

Firmware 20.5.0
Atmosphere 1.9.5
Hekate 6.3.1
If atmosphere 1.9.5 then sys-patch 1.5.6

It means what it says.

Are you sure it works on older firmware versions?

I’m currently running firmware 15.0.1 with Atmosphere 1.4.1. Yesterday, I was able to play the game when it was on version 1.0.0. However, after updating the game to version 3.0.1, I received the following error when trying to launch it:

“The software was closed because an error occurred.” 😞

any firmware beyond its release date are reasonable, which was march 20th 2020;

so 9.2.0 and up yes.

you being a silly person updating to 3.0.1 which is a switch 2 compatability patch, would require bare minimum 19.0.0/20.0.0 sdk level wise

aim for an older update, anything not 3.0.0 is switch 1 territory

go for update 2.0.6 or older (2022 update)

if you want to use 3.0.0 or above you are going to need bare minimum 21.0.0 ish, (and at that point you might as well update to 22.5.0)
