Neither, I want homebrew and gateway compatibility

Hey if you are on Gateway you must remove the 'Gateway CFW' before running SysInstall cause it will probably brick without a format.

Take a look at this and see if it helps you any: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutoria...l-access-to-homebrew-launcher-on-n3ds.407278/. Download the latest menuhax version from here and replace the one you currently have in your 3ds folder (downloaded from the starter kit from smealum's website) with the one you just downloaded.
Welp dunno what I did but its working, when I boot my 3ds up and hold L it goes into the homebrew... now to activate gateway...

One last question. Is there anyway I can make it so that instead of having to select gateway launcher in homebrew it just opens with out the menu?

You mean make the 3DS boot straight into the Gateway menu?

If you do this, it should work:
1) Rename boot.3dsx to hbll.3dsx.
2) Rename gate.3dsx to boot.3dsx.
3) Hex edit your menuhax payload to say boot.3dsx instead of gate.3dsx
4) Hex edit your Homebrew Launcher Loader CIA payload to say hbll.3dsx instead of boot.3dsx.

Thanks!, currently doing the hex editor stuff... The only thing I dislike about this exploit is that I cant use custom themes... I tried em and it removed the hack :(

You have no right to tell me to relax. He doesn't need A9LH so he doesn't need it shoved down his throat.

How I'm I shoving down his throat, it was a friendly comment.

Plus it's a public forum, free speech and nothing offensive, so quit the emotional, hormonal attitude.

Once again, you have no right to tell me what I can or can't do. It's clear as day that you aren't going to help him.

Anyways, @DoJo_Master, if you need anymore help, please feel free to PM me.

Rather talk here... Anyway got a questions, what file is the "menuhax payload" also is the "Rename gate.3dsx to boot.3dsx." in the 3ds homebrew/GW folder?

Is the payload this? "ropbinpayload_menuhax_USA12288_old3ds"

If you followed the gbatemp guide I linked you to earlier, you should have a menuhax payload after you installed the latest version of menuhax (that I also linked you to). And the "Rename gate.3dx to boot.3dsx" bit, gate.3dsx should be on the root of your SD card if you followed the gbatemp guide.

And don't use a hex editor. Use Notepad++.

1) Open Notepad++ and open your menuhax payload.
2) Use the Search feature to search for "gate.3dsx" and replace that with "boot.3dsx". Save the file.
3) Open your Homebrew Launcher loader payload.
4) Use the Search feature again and replace "boot.3dsx" with "hbll.3dsx". Save the file.

I see... I found this and it seams more stable from what Ive read http://i.imgur.com/10eG2QU.png

That works if you name the files like I said to. Either way, the menuhax payload will open with gate.3dsx and the Homebrew Launcher payload will open with hbll.3dsx.
YAY! Got it to work!, 2 last questions and Ill be gone I promise...

1. Is there a config I can change so I dont need to hold L on boot? Rather just have to go directly into the exploit

2. Custom themes, they dont work on this exploit... or do they? I dunno its weird.

1) Do this:
1a) Go to the menuhax_manager menu after selecting menuhax_manager from the Homebrew Launcher then select "Configure/check haxx trigger..."
1b) Change the type from Type 1 to Type 2. That should allow you to boot directly into the Gateway menu without holding any buttons.

2) Try looking up CHMM2 and see if that works with menuhax.

Tried CHHM2 and no it does not

Going int type 2 now
