So is there a way to get the 3ds up to date without internet. My wifi on the 3ds is broken. The console crashes if I activate internet. Så is there a way to download the fw and install it from the sd card or something

You could flash the 11.15 ctrtransfer image to get you most of the way to latest: https://3ds.hacks.guide/ctrtransfer

There's not much reason to update unless you're on a super old firmware like 4.5 or something though. The last feature update in home menu was 9.6, and if you have any cartridges they will contain offline updates anyway so that you can at least play the game. The main benefit of being on latest fw is online play and eshop access, neither of which you can do anyway if your wifi card is dead.

You don't need to do that anymore. If you have Luma3DS and Boot9Strap installed, use GM9 and install the latest system update (.CIA) files for your specific model/region to the SysNAND, ensuring you have made a NAND backup beforehand.

There is a site from some darth guy. sternie I think is called, you can download all 3ds firmware a search engine will be your friend.

By example, the latest firmware for my New 3DS (11.17.0-50U) have a MD5 Hash of: 6e81f4fe7b892fc89c2f4be604731475.

You download that archive containing all .cia files.

Theorically you can use NUS to download all cia files too.

Then you can use GodMode or https://github.com/profi200/sysUpdater to offline update your console.

I got it updated to the latest fw. Now everything works. All the games that gave me arm 11 crash. So for me I guess it was important even if I was on fw 11.00. So I don't if it was that the games didn't work on that fw or if something fucked up when I modded the console. But I read online that Samus returns didn't work on that low fw and now it works. And bunh of other games too

I did it. Now all my problem games work. They don't give me any arm 11 crash
