Hacking Unofficial DSTT Kernel V1.17a01 question

I know there's already a topic about this firmware but had to open a new topic for it since the other was closed.

I checked out this new firmware and saw that the only thing new here is the infolib.dat, savlib.dat and TTMenu.dat, according to the change date.

So would it work if I just replace these 3 files in my TTMenu folder?

I'm assuming that you are running YSmenu. If so, you'll also need to rerun TTEXTRACT.exe to generate the TTDLDI.DAT and TTPATCH.DAT files from TTMENU.DAT.

FYI, on the DSTT forum, there is some discussion as to whether certain of the compatibility fixes (most notably, Star Wars: The Clone Wars) work with the R4/YSmenu combination. YMMV.

Maybe I'll just stick with regular YSMenu, it plays all the games I use anyway. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
