Homebrew Unofficial Citra Android app does not recognize 3ds roms

I downloaded the app on my phone and took hours downloading a decrypted 3ds ROM file to my sd card to try the app.
Sadly, whenever I open the app and go to the folder where the ROM is located, the rom does not appear, as if the app does not recognize it being there.
Has anyone else experienced this issue, and do you know how to fix it? I know my phone probably can't run it but I'm too damn curious to just give up here.
I have an LG Stylo 3. I know it's an old phone, no I'm not getting a new one, no I don't believe old hardware makes new software unrecognizable because that's just not how things work.

What's the link to the emulator? Maybe you aren't putting it in the right folder

Is there a compatibility list? I have lots of games for the 3ds so I can test them

Not that I know of, no.

Well if I have time I'll download and transfer roms from my 2ds xl over to my phone and see which ones work and which ones don't
