Hello Guys,
i am in a bit of a pinch over here.
I have a New Nintendo 3DS US Version Console which was distributed from Singapore and i live in India. Now the Motherboard of that console is no longer working so i had to replace it's motherboard from different 3DS which is also the US version. After replacing the motherboard the 3DS works fine. The problem that Persists now is that i cannot link my NNID to this motherboard. When i called Nintendo US Support they to told me that my NNID is registered to the Singapore 3DS and my 3DS was Distributed from Singapore, so they are not able to help me or unlink the NNID from there. They say that, "they do not have the tools the unlink the NNID from the Singapore 3DS".
So is there any way that you guys could help me out with this.
Plezzzzz your help will really be appreciated.
Thank You.

The reason you can't link this motherboard to the old nnid is because the old mother board never officially reported to Nintendo's servers for a format, so as far as they know, that nnid is still active on that motherboard.

Because changing mother boards is practically changing 3ds systems.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also if they refused to help you, your kinda screwed because you can't format your old motherboard, so therefore can't change nnid's

He can't do that, in the op he said the old motherboard is no longer operable, so he can't boot or sign out of it

Hey guys got this issue resolved.
I had to first create a new NNID on that system and then purchase a game (free game) from eShop.
In the receipt of that game purchased, is the Sr No of that system on which i purchased the game.
and after that i had to provide Nintendo with my Old Sr No and the new motherboard Sr No.
then my NNID is transferred from old system to the new one.
