Edit: An updated version 3 has now been released with, amongst other things support for the Psp Slim screen i.e you can now see a menu. Dax says this is a major advancement in the possibility of the 1.5 kernel working under the Slim in the near future.

Thanks to Mr Tutu Alek and Jas0nuk for the Readme translations and of course to Dark Alex for creating this unbricker.

I have installed this and can confirm that the single Memstick created functions on both the Psp Slim and the Phat allowing you to go directly to 3.71 M33 Custom firmware, 3.71 Official firmware or to restore a Nand dump. Just remember that when using this on the Slim, you will still not see a menu due to hardware restrictions. There is no need for two seperate Memsticks anymore and if you already have any type of Pandora Memstick you can skip through some of the creation steps as mentioned in the Readme.

The download is called Despertar-del-Cementerio and a version two was released because the first version caused bricks.

Installation:

- If you have already a pandora ms, don't do this part. Otherwise,
format an ms using c+d mspformat or any other tool that allows to move
partition to ~250kb from first sector

Remove ms, usb and connect again usb and ms.
Make PSP and PSP/GAME dirs.

- Copy despertar_cementerio to PSP/GAME/

- Download 1.50, 3.40 and 3.71 update eboots and copy them to ms root with
150.PBP, 340.PBP and 371.PBP names.

- Use the app under a cfw with 2.x or 3.x kernel (be sure that kernel is
selected on recovery to the correct one (2.x or 3.x))

- Once finished, u will have msipl.bin on root. If you already have a pandora
ms, you don't have to do this step (ipl doesn't changes lol), otherwise,
use c+d msinst to install ipl on ms; or use dd command from unix, or any
hex-edit program to write on sector 16 on the physical drive.

- Now you can delete 340 and 150 PBP's, as they won't be used more; but 371.PBP
will be used for unbricker, so don't delete it.

- Now you have an universal pandora ms ready to go, and you just need a proper
battery. If you have 1.50 kernel access, use c+d tool. Otherwise, use corly149 tool.

Battery and ms will work on all psp and slims to this date.Download here

QUOTEUnbricking process. The menu has four options (sidenote: in psp slim you won't see the menu)

-Push X to install 3.71 M33. In psp slim, because of the imposibility to draw in the screen with the mixed 1.50/3.40 kernel the installation will be blind-like, but the leds will be used to show activity to the user. Once X is pressed, you will see the orange led light up, that means it's reading 371.pbp update. Once it finishes you will see both the orange and green leds blinking. That doesn't mean any wlan or memory stick activity, it's made on purpose to show activity.
In psp fat, once the process finishes, you will be asked to push X to shutdown the PSP. Although, in PSP slim it will shutdown automatically. Reboot and you will see BSOD, push circle and you'll be in 3.71 M33.

-Push O to install original 3.71. The rest of the process it's like installing 3.71 M33.

-Push [] to do a nand dump to a file called nand-dump.bin. Once the process is finished, the psp will shutdown.

-Push L+R+Home+Start to recover the nand from the nand-dump.bin file.

ATTENTION: this process is dangerous and must only be done in case of extreme emergency if anything else fails and ONLY using a dump from your own PSP, don't use anyone else's dump.

Unlike Pandora nand recover, wich was a logic recover, this recover will try to make a 100% exact clone of the dump.

If the dump it's not from your own PSP, you will end with a brick or a corrupt idstorage, depending on the firmware.

If when doing a recover your PSP has any broken blocks that were OK when you did the dump, you could end with a brick depending on which block is broken. That's the reason why this method is only advised in emergency cases or if you did your dump recently.

Tested with success on psp fat and psp slim.
