A long time ago there was a thread where a member mentioned swapping out the English audio files, replacing them the Japanese ones, compiling the ISO image with Wii Scrubber, and playing it on CFG USB Loader. I don't know what happened to that thread, nor do I remember where it was posted, but what is the legality of obtaining the Japanese audio files and replacing them on a legal copy of the game (I got the game yesterday)? I would think that it would be a very grey area, but, I could be wrong. Maybe I was on drugs and I imagined the whole thing, but this very user mentioned that The Last Story wouldn't run properly after swapping out the voice data files with the Japanese ones and recompiling the ISO image.

Is such a thing even possible or even legal to download (not the game, the audio files)?

Legally is wrong because the japanese audio is part of the game itself that you have not bought.

Ugh. That's what I was afraid of. Gotta get a Japanese copy if I want to do this then. No offense, but I'd rather take Japanese audio over British accents any day, that's
why I posted this. Oh well.

after you get your hands on a japanese copy, you will need this file
I made an undub with the PAL version and beat it without problems.... I guess it should work on the NTSC version too

about the legal stuff.... remember the "24 hours rule"?

Oh, yes, that rule. I don't know, I don't know if I want to spend $80 on an import just to undub it after all.

I can say for certain they did not go back and redo each scene for an english voice. The dubbing really is that good.

I've been really enjoying this game so far. Glad most of the negative reviews were wrong.
