Sounds like there's at least two games you care about on the Switch then. I'm sure more games will be revealed come E3.

Come on, Nintendo, put your money where your mouth is. Or where reggie's mouth is. Even if we don't get the big AAA multiplat titles at the same time as the other platforms, at least get the attention of the not-as-big companies, especially the Japanese ones.

The trailer was a mock up, not actual in game footage.
So they did a mock-up that isn't quite up to what's been seen on the PS4/XB1/PC, but is more than what the vanilla version provides? Sounds like a waste of time doing it if it was not happening.

To be quite realistic, why would they base the Switch version on the vanilla edition when the special edition fixes a lot of the problems the original had? Why go back to old buggy code and design when new "not-so-buggy" code and design is available? What is it about the special edition of such an old game that gets people to think the Switch can't handle it?

We won't know anything for sure until there's an official trailer release; Bethesda would be really stupid to not use the SE version.

That's like saying that any devices using a Snapdragon is a Samsung rebranded device.

Learn and grow some maturity.

umm no Snapdragon is a SOC made by Qualcomm not a device.
The SOC used in the Switch is a downclocked version of the one used in the Nvidia SHIELD Android TV.
It's the same when Qualcomm downclocked the APQ8064 to 1.5Ghz in the Nexus 7 2013
but left it at 1.7Ghz in the 2014 Amazon Fire TV.

Is there any actual game play footage of skyrim running on the switch. The footage they showed on the reveal is the special edition due to the extra textures and things like more grass, trees etc. I'm assuming the switch won't get mods but would be cool if they did.

"A video propped up in early January..."
That seems to be based on the example footage from the Switch reveal.
That video that wasn't actual Switch footage, it was example footage superimposed on a fake screen, probably from the PC version.
So it is useless to draw any conclusion.
They are making a PC vs PC on a fake screen comparison.

Also, another quote from the article to shine some light into its seriousness:
"It is known to many that the Nintendo Switch does offer 4k gaming"
