I've found a retailer (DigiTopz) that does DSTwo for just under £25, and they seem to be trusted after searching these forums: http://www.digitopz.com/supercard-dstwo-for-dsi-xl-dsi-p-37:df0f8093ce9ba174cdb4c9601f8aad05.html

They also apparently have a RetailMeNot page with a 5% off coupon... http://www.retailmenot.com/view/digitopz.com

So yeah, I'm just on the edge of taking the plunge... But they only accept credit cards, not paypal.

I too am after an R4i Gold in the UK, but can't find a Paypal retailer. PM me if you have any luck

I think this website is China-based, I thought you were looking for a UK/Europe based store.
Might as well order from a cheaper store like zhuzhuchina.com. (DSTWO Link)
They work with PayPal.

There's no sign of paypal on that site and in their "How to Shop" page they say you need to add 5% of the price of your order in order to be "insured" against the "accidental loss or damage" of your order.

Zhuzhuchina is a good store.
And it does say paypal on the "how to shop" page.

Would this work in the Supercard DSTwo/R4iG? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007JTKLEK/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=computers

EDIT: I decided to take the plunge and try digitopz, but as soon as I saw the gateway they used for card payments, I did a quick google ( http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.ecpss.com ) and found that the payment gateway is notorious for draining cards and use by scammers. I then changed all my info on their site to "abcd" from "abcdefg" :P

Well, Zhu ZHu China charge a whopping $6 extra to ship to the UK to ship to themselves and then reship it inside the UK to me... THE HELL?

And realhotstuff.hk seems to want my credit card information directly, not using a payment gateway. Plus they try to charge you $1.60 in "insurance" saying that they won't be responsible for the loss of the package if you don't pay, which is bollocks, if I don't get my item I go to my bank and tell them to charge back the money.

I'd still go for an acekard all round the most superior card for development, compatability and support. Second choice would be R4 Gold.................... I bought one just a few days ago from mini-r4card.co.uk , great price and delivered in 4 days to the UK. Also the service is super friendly, helpful and best of all you can use PayPal.
On a bad note stay well clear of dscardes.com like many that is a scam site and never reply to emails or offer customer support and have lots of fake and misleading information on their website

With the market so unstable at this time it is hard to know what to do.

I found a new flashcart dealer located in the USA - POCKETDS and am giving them a try.
They have a good variety of cards at fair prices.

So far so good, credit card charged the right amont via PayPal and USPS tracking number is good and package is listed as in transit.

I don't mind paying more for a trustworthy site. I do mind being slammed with charges at the last page of checkout. Or sites that try to over-ride distance selling regulations.

In the end, witht he extra charges, Zhu Zhu China is actually dearer than most US/EU retailers.

it states it on the page so your not slammed with the extra cost
and i cant believe you call £3.77 a hefty price

if it guarantees no custom charges or even saving the item being destroyed and you getting a court letter over buying an illegal item id say its worth it

so now you have bought from a site that shipping to you and if it gets caught up in customs and they find an illegal banned device and destroy it and Nintendo take you to court dont blame us

I say listen to this guy and order the R4i Gold 3DS.
The one with the r4ids.cn website on it that is.
You don't seem to have much better options.
