Hacking Ugh 4.0 Problems

I have a wii, it isnt store bought 4.0 but updated 4.0. I used bannerbomb and installed homebrew and bootmii, but i cant install wads, i tried using wad manager 1.4 to no luck and i tried wad manager ios16 and it just freezes. Ios Downgrader doesnt load it just resets the wii and the same goes for cios downgrader.

Any ideas?

It's because you don't have cIOS installed. You can use the IOS35 downgrade method if yours isn't a LU64 type or the cboot2 method if it is. You should be able to find guides for installing cIOS on 4.0 with a bit of searching.
