Gaming Ubuntu 9.04 and an EeePC 701

Well, I just installed Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackelope on my EeePC 701 (not the Netbook Remix Version) and it's running good, but it seems the fan isn't really working right...it worked like it should under windows XP, but now it's just kicking in a little bit and the eee gets very hot


anyone knows if I forgot to install something?

try asus downloads or forum, maybe it needs a patch or trick.

Well it seems, that it got hot because it was always running at 900 Mhz....so I activated the p4_clockmod and it's not getting that warm, but the fan still doesn't kick in while it's running constantly at 900 Mhz :/
