Gaming Two games not working on Acekard. Help?

5296 - Fushigi no Dungeon: Fuurai no Shiren 5 - Fortun Tower to Unmei no Dice (J).
5225 - Tongari Boushi to Mahou no Otana (J).

Using Acekard 2i with Akaio 1.8.1 on a DS Lite.
BypassAntiPiracy - on.
Transcend 8 GB Class 6 microSDHC - formatted with Panasonic SDFormatter.

Tried clean rom, patched rom - No joy.
Any help appreciated.

PS. Why did Inunah get banned. I miss her wacky comments.

Quick update

Still no joy getting these two games games to run on Akaio 1.8.1.

Found my old R4 - Installed Wood latest firmware and guess what - Both games run perfectly.
Its back to my old R4 for me now.

PS. Bring back Inunah.

Back up your MicroSD card and reformat it with this

If that doesn't work, try running it with AP-Turned off.

Also she was banned for a reason.

Just tried what you suggested - both games still refuse to work.

These games are the only ones i can't get to run on my Acekard. - All the others work!.

Looks like I'll have to wait for a new firmware of Akaio or new loaders.

It would be nice to know if any Acekard (Akaio 1.8.1) users has managed to get these games working and if so how?.


PS - What was the reason?.

Had a look on that Akaio forum site and was going to Register and fill out a bug report for 5225 - Tongari Boushi to Mahou no Otana (J) but
decided against it after seeing these comments -

Read the clarification of the modding policy (posted on the front page).

The AKAIO forums are not for discussion, they are a line to the developers, a way for people to directly post bug reports. As long as you debug properly and keep on-topic things are fine there, I've posted in a few threads, even PMed Normmatt asking for clarifications on stuff.

It's people that think that forum is an off-shoot of this one and just dick around or post without reading the stickies (or properly debugging) that get removed.

Update

Got both games working after installing on a Transcend 2 GB Class 6 microSDHC.

Seems like I had an issue with my Transcend 8 GB Class 6 microSDHC read/write speed.

Results after using HDTach.

Transcend 8 GB Class 6 microSDHC.
Read Speed: 15.1MB/s
Random Access: 0.9ms

Transcend 2 GB Class 6 microSDHC.
Read Speed: 17.5MB/s
Random Access: 0.9ms

Both games will only work when running Red DMA mode and Fushigi no Dungeon: Fuurai no Shiren 5 - Fortun Tower to Unmei no Dice needs to be patched.

I think there is a problem with sd cards larger than 4gb. i have picked up issues with 2 of my 3 8gb cards. On the ds lites 2 of the 8gb cards don't run some of the newer games properly. But all three 8gb cards have issues with games on the dsi. I have copied the games that have problems on the 8gb card, directly from the 8gb card to a 4gb card and then they run fine. It seems to be the games that have anti piracy protection, like mario and sonic olympic games, bowsers inside story and march of the minis 2. Running an Acekard 2i v1.4.1 AKAIO 1.8.1
