Hacking TWLSaveTool save dump issues

Hello guys, I tried to extract a save file from my friend's real Soul Silver cartridge because I wanted to backup his pokemons and, also, because he started a new game (so I can't dump anymore that save file).
I did the same steps for his game and for Magical Starsing, and I only managed to rip the last game's save file (strangely)
When I start this save on my emulator (and TWLmenu), it treats as I'm starting a new game.
If I open it on PkHEx, it says "Attemped to load an unsupported file type/size."
If I open it on PKSM, it just says that my save file is invalid.
I tried converting it, but it doesn't seem to work (or am I just stupid? Idk)

What should I do? He had a shiny in there, I'm kinda sad for his pokemons being lost because I was stupid enough to dump his file at 1 AM.

TWLSaveTool is outdated. You can backup and restore saves to DS carts with Checkpoint.

Check if the save files work in DeSmuME or NO$GBA desktop emulators.
