twilight menu++ error?

before updating I see these 2 icons

Now that I have updated to the new version, only the one on the right appears, and from time to time black lines flash on that icon.
The strange thing is that if I go back to the previous version, it also does the same thing, even formatting, so I don't know what I did wrong?
I've had the hidden folders, and to play GBA that was great, but now it's gone!

The black line flickering is a known issue, and is unknown how to fix it.

You can't. We removed it, because of GBARunner2 supporting arguments in order to boot ROMs without having to go through the emulator's menu.

The icon has been removed ever since GBARunner2 added argument support, which was years ago.

Sounds like the SD card isn't fragmented correctly.
Try backing up everything on the SD card to a safe place, delete everything on the SD card, and re-add the backed up files.

In the end I had to use flashcard firmware, so it seems to work
