Yes, of course only a CD will burn on a CD burner, you cant burn a DVD using your CD burner.

You can if "which craft" happens, you never know the CD Rewriter might have magic powers and suddenly start writing DVD's lol....Last time iv'e touched a CD Burner or DVD Reader was about 10 year ago lol

Yes, of course only a CD will burn on a CD burner, you cant burn a DVD using your CD burner.

Ok if I got this right you can burn a game on ~500MB on a CD/DVD that is 700MB but you can only burn CD's with a CD burner.

Oh ok :/ I ask this because the CD burner that's installed on this PC is about 5-7 years old.

No you can burn a CD with a DVD Writer, but you cant burn a DVD with a CD Writer, lol

If youre taling about wii games, none are that small!!
if they're only 700mb they need UNZIPPING, then burn it

You can only burn wii games to a dvd-r or dvd+r (just use dvd-r) you'll have less problems.

The wii won't read cd-r.
