Just a heads up the problem with no app selection being shown is actually issue with mashers homebrew launcher. Also the speed discrepancies between 2DS and 3DS probably have more to do with SD cards, because aside from form factor their hardware is pretty much identical. The only device change that will see a real boost from Old to New 3DS. One more than thing to note is that the title id will change depending on your region.

Incase someone uses your tutorial to randomize Rutile Ruby/Sapphire you can state that Randomizing starter will cause the game to not boot past the doors opening on the truck.
