You can't run Smash on 4.5E. If you want to, buy a Gateway right now, or buy Cubic Ninja and run Pasta through it. Alternatively, wait for Pasta 9.2 MSET to be released.

I have unfortunately a 3dslink and play from there the games more but my kids want the ssb. I asked if this is something. from there I can run the Cubic Ninja there maybe a way to play the game from there ??

A friend gave me his 3dsxl with 4.5 and a ds flashcart. I just started reading about cfw today. All these technical terms just go over my head for now. As I understand, emunand makes a virtual firmware that can be updated so that eshop can be used, right? It says on the guide to update to 9.4 but the latest firmware is 9.7. Is step 1 still viable? Can I just skip 1 and go to 2?

Pro tips here -
1. Do NOT update from a GAME CART on EmuNAND, for me (maybe I screwed up IDK) it updated my SysNAND. Beware.
2. To run the CFW exploit I find that it works reliably if I power off the 3DS. Boot up, go to Settings. When entering the profile, once its loaded - I count out loud, 1-2-3 and press Nintendo DS Profile. Worked on 1st try a few times, again IDK maybe I'm knuts.

Hi i need help here, i did all the necessary steps and messed up on the last part. i didnt upgrade from settings..i think my sysnand got updated but my firmware still says 4.2. i tried to start over and redo all the steps but i cant because my 3ds can connect to the network but cant access internet (caused by the update) i got the backup sysnand but cant access exploit to try to restore it. Please help me.

Hello, I need some help
I followed the other guide and installed the BigBlueBox Title Manager.
Then I wanted to install rxTools but I saw that launching the rxTools web exploit it says that I have no emuNAND installed..
My question is, can I install .cia files without installing rxTools and without emuNAND or I have to use another SD card for the emuNAND to install .cia files?
I'm new to this and I have difficulties to understand everything.

Any reply will be appreciate, thanks in advance!

install menuhax
get rxtools running
patch fbi
update emunand to latest

No you can't. You have to upgrade at least to 4.x. Most people prefer to upgrade to 9.2.

Different firmware uses different entrypoints and hax. There are a lot of tutorial for every option.
