LOL, I didn't even notice it was you. Yepper, its going to be worth the wait if it can do everything that people have said. The way it seemed, with the one guy naming himself Hillary and Trump, we weren't gonna see it until the election in the US, but I won't argue if it's sooner. Has anyone heard anything from team salt about their stuff? I heard it's been nothing but a shit talking fest since wiiubru's announcement and collaboration. Honestly, it makes sense to get as much help as you can to get something working. Hogging it for the glory or to say "I haz hax" is just dumb. Don't mention it if you don't intend on releasing. It just pisses people off. Not accusing anyone, just a general comment.
Honestly, if I were a dev, I wouldn't announce stuff like this until I was either done and going to release it, or very close to being done and ready for release.

There are pros and cons both ways. With people knowing about it, you get more devs in the project which could equal faster release. A team of one or two people, if they hit a snag, they are screwed until one of them figures it out. But then, on the other side, you have pissed off people when their "deadlines" aren't met. These guys seem to have thick skin as they are still working even after a supposed leak and they put up with alot of crap from team salt supporters. Whoever releases, it will have been worth the wait. It's just great to see life back in the wii u. I have a launch model and have maybe 30 hours of gameplay on it.

Tangentially related: does anyone have any experience with microSD cards on Wii U, via an SD-sized adapter? I want to upgrade my 64GB to have more space for Nintendont games after I create the 32GB RedNAND, but I don't know if there's any disadvantage of using an adapter instead of a regularly-sized SD card. Micros are much cheaper than regular SDs, too.

I find that mSD to SD adapters die or break pretty fast if you take them out of and put them in things a lot. I don't have any experience with them in Wii Us specifically though.

There's no issues. Most of us use large Micro SD
