Hacking TTi DS Flash Card

I just bought my first ever flash card , its a little white card that says TTi DS or DSTTi , im not sure which order its supposed to be read in, anyhow, when I put it in my friends DS lite it boots up fine, and when I put it into my DSi (1.4.5U) it doesn't work. I'm aware that some cards don't have the required update and I'm sick of browsing the internet looking for an answer, so im making this post too get a final answer ...

is this card updateable to work on DSi ( 1.4.5 U) ? Thanks in advance

Nope, the dstt team un/officially never relaesed a dsi update after the 1.43u.(from what i remember )
You should have bought a supercard or the r4i gold...

You should always ask BEFORE buying carts, since the majority of carts out there stopped getting updates...

can i hope for an update in the future or should i buy a new card?

due to some sort of shipping error i never had to pay for this card anyway because it still says payment pending on the website

also, if there is anyway to downgrade the DSi i would also do that

BUY A NEW CARD!!!

if you plan on using the dsi(and don't plan to use it on a 3DS) then i'd choose a scds1i
else a scds2
or a r4igold

There is no way, which is why the firmware update thing is so important.

Choose Wisely.
And remember, don't update a dsi/3ds unless your cart's update has been released.
