Hacking TTDS Causing Startup Problems

Sometimes when I turn on the DS with the TT card in the Slot1, it either

• Freeze Midway through the bottom screen's text fade-in (before autoload)
• Whitescreen's instead of autoloads
• Bottom Screen Whitescreen's Top screen Blackscreen's
• Freezes when the smiley face card thingy is saying "Loading"

These alternate and sometimes it takes 30-40 startups to actually get to the TTDS screen

Which reminds me, How do you Soft Reset in-game?

And I know this isn't a DS fault because it seems to work fine with regular games

It sounds like you may have contact problems. You can try putting some paper or cardboard in with the DSTT to help push the contacts towards the DS's contacts, but the best solution is to return it and get a new one.

Ah, then you have a fake. Make sure you use the fake-killer disabled firmware to avoid the problem (or return your fake for a real one).
