Hacking Trying to install brawl hacks, help please

Hi guys. Im a complete noob with brawl hacking. ive read guides and nothing has worked out for me as my game always freezes. in the end i came to conclude that all is to install the extra melee and n64 stages from this pack here on this page :

can someone walk me into installing it (gecko or riivolution, none doesnt matter). like i said though i have no idea about hacking or gecko or riivolution. so please be as simple as possible.

i dont want to implement them into the iso, i want to be able to use the hacks through gecko or riivolution. but dont know how.

Project: M Demo 2.6

To use with Hackless Wii or Homebrew Option:
* Install Project: M to the SD card
* Copy the "private" and "codes" folders (and their contents) from the Classic Expansion Pack to the SD card, replacing any existing files
* Hackless Wii:
* Make sure there are no stage builder stages stored on the Wii
* From Brawl's main menu, go to the stage builder, and Gecko OS should appear - press A to reload the game with the expansion pack enabled

To use with Riivolution Option (not tested yet):
* Install Project: M to the SD or SDHC card
* Make a folder inside "brawlmods" on the SD card called "pmstages"
* Copy the contents of private/wii/app/RSBE/pf in the Classic Expansion Pack to brawlmods/pmstages on the SD card
* Copy the file codes/RSBE01.gct to brawlmods/pmstages on the SD card
* Copy projectm.xml in the Classic Expansion Pack to overwrite riivolution/projectm.xml on the SD card
