yay, it works for me for the first time
I have saved prince of persia succesfull for the first time, too bad i can't remember what I actually did... but the starting screen after rebooting was diffrent and asked me if I wanted to save the game to a slot.

I'm verry happy now just hope that it also works for The minish cap...

edit: Warioland4 also works now

a little strange that it told me that the save was corrupted, because it is in solid state!

Yes the R4 autopatches but is only done through the original firmware, not the actual cart hardware. The DLDI patcher is the same one you used to make the YSMENU working.

you can try the acekard or the DTTS DLDI patcher if you want to find out.

So, if i just use the R4 firmware, with GBAExploader unpatched, it should work?

Just to clear things up, what program should i be using to patch the GBA roms?
I've tried GBATA, batchGBA, and the EZ4 client, but i'm unsure which is best.

What did you patch the roms with?

and are you using GBAExploader, or YSMenu?

GBATA for Rom patching
R4 v1.18
GBAExploader 0.58b

Suddenly the program acts differently and askes me when I'm booting up gbaexploader where I want to place my saves. I can't remember changing anything, but now it works

>.< doesn't work anymore, the "where to write the save to" pop-up when you boot up GBAExploader, doesn't show up anymore

well at least I know what is wrong, but now how to fix it...
