ROM Hack Trouble running Tahaxan

Hi,

I have downloaded the Tahaxan and the required dlls but I still got an error message:

"CCan not find procedure entry point _Z13luaL_newstatev (in the dynamic link library lua51.dll)"

I tried to go to the author's web site but it seems to longer exist....

I am curious if there is any alternate application that can extract files within the NDS roms or similar to Tahaxan?

Or if someone know how to fix the above mentioned problem?

I would check that you have lua51.dll in the folder.

I only have bgd.dll and lua51.dll

After I gotten the rest of the dll files the programs works as intended.

This one is still getting worked on a lot and is based in java but has some interesting abilities.

As an aside on the old tahaxan forums there was a tool called nds editor, you can still grab it here

If you just want to pull roms apart there are several other options.
ndstool is the basic go to tool for most hackers although it is far from perfect (it was only ever intended for homebrew so that it works at all on commercial roms is something of a bonus). It has frontends in DSlazy and DSbuff.

This and similar tools (ndshv for example) can extract and insert files if they are of the same size.
