Hacking Trinket m0 question

if i install the Trinket M0 with this guide(https://gbatemp.net/threads/interna...ybitsy-m0-express-guide-files-support.508068/) does it look for the payload.bin on the sd card, or the trinket chip?

But in short, it loads payload.bin from the root of the SD card.

If no SD card was inserted it would boot the uf2 on the chip, if there was one set as payload.bin it will boot that from the SD.
