Who here trims their ROM's? If you do what's the chance that it screws up the ROM, and what trimmer do you use.

Im trying to make some space for some Mp3's =P.

Most people do. Feel free to try mine

Another vote for NDSTokyoTrim. Very simple to use and very fast. No time wasted.

I'll be one of the minority that doesn't trim roms. I hold 30-35 games at once in my 2gb card and only play a few simultaneously... thus, saving a few hundred extra MBs to put on more games I won't be playing doesn't really help me any.

Some of my ROMs are trimmed, about 40%. I'm just very lazy, so I don't trim them all the time.

I use NDSTokyoTrim, it's awesome. I don't have that many games on my R4, but I have about 700 MB of videos and songs. So my ROMs kinda need to be trimmed to I can cram all the media I can.

Yet another vote for NDSTokyoTrim here. It trims super fast, less than 1 second! Plus, it's got gba trimming and a bunch of cool features like picking a folder to scan for untrimmed roms. Also, it is a batch trimmer, so you can trim tons of games at once. NDSTokyoTrim FTW!

NDSTokyoTrim vote as well. It works fast, only requires a few seconds to do what it has to do, and it can tell if the rom was previously trimmed!

NDSTT trims GBA as well? o.o

Yeah, since the last version 0.75; however it's a really basic and mostly untested trim, I can't test it myself so I coded it with just the theory in mind, however users have been reporting it's working and better than the other gba trimmers :)

Thanks for the overwhelming support everyone :D

Another vote for Rominator here.
Safe trims to preserve the wi-fi and hasn't had an issue with any of my +70 Roms yet.
It even trims games that aren't normally in the database (like XXXX Game & Watch Collection (J)) and they play fine afterwards. Fantastic tool imo, can now fit about 50 roms on my 2Gb with plenty of room to spare for 10-20 homebrew things.

Well, I don't really go by that "I can fit XX roms in my XGb Memory card" thing. It all depends on what ROMS you get. If you get small games, then yeah, you cna fit like 50. However, if you get big games, such as FFIII, Metroid: PH, ASH, etc etc, it's a VERY different story. : P
