See ya!

I have installed onslaught into my SD nand but I realized that WFC doesn't work in this mode
I want to copy my save back to my Wii Nand, what is the proper steps to do it?

you can copy the data from your sd card to a different forder and then install it with a version of wanin's savegame manager.

assuming the game is RGHE, convert RGHE to hex (52474845). then look in SD:/title/00010001/52474845/content/data/. there you should find the save data. its been a while, but i believe the path you need to create is SD:/savegames/0001000152474845/ and put the stuff in there. if there is a nocopy folder, remove that so the data is right in the 0001000152474845 folder.

a couple things to note...
first you must play the game at least once on your wii before you can move the data there.
second, i may be a bit off on the path, so dump a save and check your sd card. then just make your path look like that and just change the last 8 characters of the folder.

you guys get triiforce beta7 to work with cios249 rev 17 i don't as it does not give me the option to choose which nand to use at the start and then it doesn't see any wiiware just neogamma and hbc

I just can't seem to get this to work. Triiforce r75 runs off of my USB drive (1st partition = WBFS, 2nd = FAT32(active/primary), 3rd = NTFS), but whenever I attempt to read the USB-Nand, it just gives me a -1.
It's able to run from the real-nand fine, and obviously the USB drive works since that's what the Triiforce application is running from. I used Simple Nand FS Dump to dump the full nand, and also used FTPii to get a nand copy to see if that was the issue, but it's obviously not.

4.2U/cIOS rev17/Triiforce r75/292MB nand backup/ IOS 70,249,250,36 = Trucha-restored
It's a WD 1.5TB Essential External.

EDIT: Do I need to have my FAT32 partition first? (requiring me to reformat the whole drive..?)

AFAIK, yes, the FAT32 partition needs to be first. And, yes, you're going to have to at least re-copy the games back to the WBFS partition.

On the Triiforce compatibility chart, certain games (specifically the Void and Core versions of the bit.trip series) say you need a save file on your usb NAND to make it work. Is there any way to do this without installing the WAD normally, saving to the NAND normally and then having to re-dump my NAND?

I even have a friend's save file of Core in data.bin format, if that helps; I just can't figure out what to do.

You can extract the data.bin with FE100

or

Dump only the savegame dir with FSToolbox

Thank you, hany; I currently working with FE100, but it unpacks the savefile as a savefile.dat (like is in other directories on my nand) but creates a lot of ###banner###.ppm and ###icon0###.ppm (through icon 7) files, whereas other files show up in the nand dump as just a "banner.bin" (So Fe100 dumps 11 files; everything else in my nand dump only has two). I tried putting all of those in the right directory and no dice with triiforce.

Any thoughts?

And for the record, I'm not trying to be difficult and ignore the FSToolbox advice, it's just Wadmanager hasn't been working since I installed the "show all DLC as purchased" Wad on Beatles Rock Band and the game didn't delete things properly and the memory overflowed and I had a heart attack and blah blah blah, so, long story short, I'm not able to install the wad regularly to get a savefile on my Wii's nand.

Well, formatting my 1.5TB and setting the first partition as active/primary FAT32 and
the second partition as WBFS and the third as NTFS didn't help with my problems at all.

EDIT: So, the problem is definitely my hard drive \:, I plugged in a WD 1TB with a 30GB FAT32 partition and it worked fine.
Which is completely weird, considering Triiforce(runs the program at least)/HBC/Cfg USBLoader v51 and other programs recognize my drive.
Any ideas how to get a WD Essential 1.5TB to work? It doesn't work with 30GB FAT32 partition (primary/active) and the rest is just unformatted.

For me it works without the banner.bin file so try without all the ### files and only the savefile.dat...
Or use FSToolbox on your friends Wii.
Last option would be to wait for SNEEK which should be released soon.
