I'm sure you've made sure it's fat32 not fat or fat16 right ???? All my other apps like GX and emu's all work on my usb as a fat32 partition but Triiforce won't work on my USB-HD without it being FAT32 (active) partition. For those who don't know, I was getting the -1 error also. Not saying that's what your problem is, just saying.
My 1gb sd card is formatted to FAT, and works perfectly. My 2gb USB thumb drive is FAT, and it also works fine. Strangely though, my 8gb USB is formatted to FAT32, and doesn't work with Triforce at all. The 8gb is active primary, works with anything else I try, so there's no understandable reason why Triforce won't mount it. There's obviously something different with the way Triforce mounts the USB, when compared to all my other apps including; WadManager, MPlayer CE, fceuGX (and all other emus), and USB Loader GX.

I might attribute it to user error, or device incompatibility, if I couldn't get this drive to function properly with other apps, but that simply isn't the case. My ios202 was installed using Herme's installer, using the default ios36 (homebrew). It wasn't until I installed this 202 that I was able to run homebrew from USB, so I don't think I'm missing anything that could improve my USB functionality further. Since I'm having luck with the FAT format, I'm almost about to try formatting my 8gb to FAT to see what happens.

Monkey Island USA version gives me a green screen, does this work for anyone else? Strong Bad also didn't work as somebody already pointed out. My Life As A Dark Lord also gives me an error, "Can't access Wii system memory" or something like that. Anyone got those to work?

TriiForce works well except for Ocarina, it flashes so fast I cant read it and it doesn't seem to apply the codes at least not in Super Mario 64 (Loaded from Real NAND), I am fuzzy on where to put it anyway, like does it look for it in

sd:\apps\ocarina\boot.dol
sd:\apps\TriiForce\ocarina\boot.dol
sd:\TriiForce\ocarina\boot.dol

I dont know where to put it, also where do the codes go?

sd:\codes
sd:\TriiForce\codes
sd:\apps\TriiForce\codes

maybe if I know where it should go I could get it to work.

According to nicksasa it's sd:\TriiForce\codes.

I stuck too.

QUOTE(nicksasa @ Aug 19 2009, 01:31 PM) no wrong , put the codes in "sd:/TriiForce/codes/NAAP.gct" for example

is it or would it be possible to store the nand in a special folder? Maybe called "nand" or something like that. Because i already have toooo much folder on my SD card -.-

okay i just saw this, how does the nand emu work?

WiiPower said (i think or Nick) that if you can't get it to work then don't use it

but I'll tell you anyway:

Dump your NAND with Simple FS Dumper 0.2 and run Triiforce but either have the app (Triiforce) in the SD and your dump on USB or vice versa

???

If it does not even say "No codes found" and stops for about 1 second so you can read that, YOU DID NOT ENABLE OCARINA! When it says somehwere "No Ocarina" it means that!

means i cant have the app and the dump on the same device?

right, thanks

oh, i havent tried to work it yet, i just saw this today

I thought it's clear you can't use the same device for 2 different things(nand emu + wad loading) at the same time???

yeah, i'll remember that later when i try it

Hmm it doesnt seem to stop for me, or maybe I cant read it that fast because I have never seen that message. I set Ocarina to yes and tossed the codes and a copy of Ocarina every where I can think of (got 3 codes folders and 3 ocarina folders) still no luck, it runs the VC game fine just no application of the codes.

OK I get that, I just don't see where it says "No Ocarina" if I had seen it I would be asking how to make it say "Yes Ocarina" instead.

Unless you mean YOU'RE saying it, which would mean Ocarina doesn't work/isn't implemented with beta5 then. I guess not because if it were I assume you would tell me how to make it work not just keep repeating an obvious statement.

It says "No ocarina" in two sections, hooktype and ocarina. You have to enable both to get it to work, and I personally don't know what hooktype works, I haven't tried any cheats yet.

I can confirm that Triiforce game loading code will stop for 1 second and say "No codes found" or in my case "no usb codes found" IF you have some type of hooktype enabled. I just chose the first one, obviously not the right one but it was in fact trying load cheats. Or least codes in a directory.

The no codes found message means: No codes found. So you have either the wrong filename, or the file in the wrong folder.
