What people want is a GUI that will unpack/read/categorize/display/allow selection of wads before the emulation process. I'm looking forward to what the future holds.

Good work guys and good luck,

Why would that scare you the emulator works fine. The cios needs a lot of work and would benefit from wanin concentrating/cooperating with cios and hermes.

I have Monkey Island on my nand.

I can play with triiforce and the real nand to it, but when i want to play from an Usb-nand, I have a green screen.

I don't know if this test can be usefull for developper, i hope so.

Hello!

And what about a "Triiforceconfig.ini"

Some app allready use simillar thinks.

And could be...

-Looks for Triiforceconfig.ini in SD or USB (on apps/triiforce folder of course)
-On Triiforceconfig:
*Set default device (SD/USB/Real Nand)
*Set default resolution
*Set default language
*File title.txt on apps/triiforce (by default/editable)
*Set a favorites game list or a game (show just a few or by console) and then a "Show all"/reload list (something like "favorite console=snes")

Its just and idea... and dont looks very difficult xD

Mhhh... that's a nice idea, mr corsario.
The INI file could get the GAME ID from the installed 00000000.app file and you'll run the wiiware/vc with auto-settings enabled

Sorry wichoxp, I still don't get it really... I think I understand what your saying, EG 1 channel on the Wii per VC/WW ? like the USB game channels.
I don't want to confuse you, but maybe you could consider an "alternate" version of TriiForce that loads WiiWare/VC from the channels on Wii Menu. In that way, we could get two different versions of TriiForce:
- Actual one: Using TriiForce as homebrew app (with Wiiware/VC selection menu and settings).
- Alternate one: Using TriiForce as a loader (Wiiware/VC wii menu channel > TriiForce loader > Wiiware/VC Game).

QUOTE said:
But then that would take longer imho to select a game searching through the Wii menu pages, and also it would start eating away at your space on nand.
Wii Menu is the first thing you see (before warning screen) so you can get the games really fast. Forwarder channels (opening.bnr files) take just a minimal space on the Real-NAND (opening.bnr files only uses 2 or 3 blocks per game).

QUOTE
If there are some "favourites" you want to select from the menu why not just install they ones to the wii nand ?
Because you can save huge Real-NAND memory using the alternate method. See this example:

- If I install only 3 games on Real-NAND > it will cost me about 300 blocks on main wii memory... but,
- If I install 15 Forwarder Channels (opening.bnr) on Real-NAND > they would fit on less than 40 or 50 blocks.

So, you can keep your Real-NAND with many free space + all your Favorite & non-Favorite wiiware/vc stuff on the emulated NAND

See ya.

I'm having a little trouble with setting this up. I used the Simple FS Dumper to dump my filesystem to SD card. I can load that dump from SD (Or USB, for that matter) just fine in TriiForce and play games from it and all. My problem's related to Wad Manager. I load the Wad Manager 1.5, IOS249, NAND emulator device SD card and source device USB. It proceeds fine but every WAD I'm trying to install errors. What could be wrong?

Sorry if this is not the appropriate place to ask this but I think this is where I'm most likely getting the help

Not to sound ungrateful for what this does, as indeed it has its purpose but what I'm wanting to know is if there is a FULL NAND emulator yet?
From what I understand it's possible to run the full system from the SD card and launch discs, etc from the emulated version of the system menu. I find this very interesting regarding Guitar Hero and DLC as 8GB SDHC is much better for saving songs than the

Use wad2nand instead wad manager:

* Be sure to add the extracted files on the right folder and subfolder in your emulated NAND.

Hmm, shame. I'm on OS X. Guess I'll have to virtualize windows everytime I need to install something. There is really no way to get the Wad manager to work?

You can use "wad manager" as well, but it could gave you some errors (freeze) during wad installation... specially on big files

What settings did people use to get Rock N' Roll Climber to work on TriiForce?

I try to run it through there and get either a green screen or a code dump error.

I'm using a (PAL) Wii 4.1
