Hacking Triforce Bios for Nintendon't ?

I think you can download all usb hid configs in ninendont mod

I did download the HID ini package but the controller won't respond that's my issue

1) Plugged in via USB?
2) using the for-positive correct controller.ini?
3) third-party?

it's a Red Sony DualShock 3 controller plugged into the usb port

i've done all of that

I however do know that pimpmywii patched IOS 58 for ES_Identify could that cause the issue

Use homebrew channel and follow steps 1/2/3 again ( is important to follow). If it doesnt work then google hid test.Dol and that will tell you if your gamepad is compatable

I can just reinstall a fresh copy pimpmywii has the option not to patch the ios slots

I had the patches on for my old projectm trucha disc and my custom copy of Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkai 3 Pal (Japanese Sound track with PAL voices)

It does too have the Triforce BIOS. It's named segaboot.bin.

Do not speak of that which you know nothing of

segaboot.img1 / segaboot.bin isn't a bios file, it's a gamecube iso / gcm container file with the header slightly messed up.
The other segaboot.img01 can however be opened as a regular gcm with gc-tool or gcic.

the Triforce bios is called triforce_bootrom.bin / fpr21042_m29w160et.bin and contains two copies of the actual bios it's self

Ok, that changes a few things, I suppose...
Try un-patching IOS 58 just to see what will happen. Maybe if we're lucky that will solve the issue

I don't know why i didn't think of it before cyan and abz both said the DS3 will only work in USB Loader GX with Boot IOS set to 58, obviously a clean one is needed
i'll install it with IOS58 installer it does no patching what so ever just a clean install of IOS 58 from NUS
