Hello! Im trying to transfer hekate from one to another switch (motherboard), i dont care about ofw just hekate, im not sure if its locked for each console but i would like to transfer atmosphere android etc... or at least game data. thanks for anyone helping me

the problem here is that i want to transfer atmosphere or game data, hope its clear that i do not have access to the old switch

thx for the answer
You can't use same card on different switches. Won't work that way with game data. Your best bet is to start over with new atmosphere files, and if you backed up your game saves with JKSV or Edison, then put them back on there.

The games are encrypted with a console specific key so you can't copy any game off the SD card or emummc without the 'old' Switch. If the new Switch tries to use the game, it can't read the game because it has the wrong key.

If you used an emummc and have the prodinfo keys of the old Switch, then you can extract the save games.
There are some topics already here on how to do that.
Without prodinfo keys, you can't read the emummc files.
Sometimes that key file on the SD card in the root or /switch folder and they are called keys.dat.

If the new Switch has the same firmware version as the old Switch, then you should be able to use Hekate/Atmosphere as-is.
Hekate/Atmosphere are not encrypted in any way but do care about the firmware version of the Switch.
But you can grab the latest files from the internet and copy over the config files.

Got a dump of the keys from the old Switch? If not, you can consider that game data as being completely random garbage.

If you just care about atmosphere/hekate, you can just re-download them off the internet for the new switch. They don't need to be on a specific switch that doesn't matter at all.

Saves are not on your sd card btw, only on the switch itself internal hard drive. So unless you backed them up with checkpoint they're gone. You could always just re-download the games on the internet (assuming piracy). You cannot get a different switch to see pirated games installed on another Switch. It will ask you to format the sd card. That's not what keys are for to make another Switch magically be able to play games from another Switch, that's not possible.

i checked jskv folder and luckily i saved all my progress in every game 3 days before console died in a moment of boredom, will i be luckier with retroarch, save data are stored inside roms right?

Correct any emulators/roms/saves can just be copied to another Switch without issue.
